VR500 vibration recorder                            Sub-span oscillation monitoring device

        The VR500 vibration recorder is used for measurement under breeze. It collects the bending amplitude and the frequency of conductors, wind speed, air temperature and other environmental parameters of the lines. It analyzes and judges the vibration level of the lines under breeze and the fatigue life of conductors using the LIFE500 software. Conductors and grounding wires with fatigue damage will be subject to fault analysis, so as to determine the causes of fatigue damage, make targeted improvements to prevent greater damage, and assist the operation department in establishing reasonable maintenance intervals and preventive maintenance plans. Meanwhile, a sub-span oscillation device is developed for sub-span vibration monitoring of the split conductors, thereby verifying whether the damping spacers are appropriately arranged.
