Specialized in online monitoring and live detection of power transmission and transformation equipment, Nanjing Unitech Electric Power Technology Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Unitech”) has made the most achievements in the field of online monitoring of UHV power transmission and transformation. Unitech’s products are widely used in converter stations with voltage level of ±800kV and ±1100kV. With increasing attention paid by the State Grid to UHV power transmission and transformation safety, Unitech's "preemptive" actions began to work. With a vision of "To become authoritative through dedication", Unitech has developed such core technologies as acoustic fingerprinting, laser energy supply, and real-time data acquisition platform for UHV power transmission and transformation. Till now, Unitech has undertaken and completed three guide projects of the State Grid. In addition, Unitech has been granted more than 100 invention patents, utility model patents and software copyrights, published more than 50 papers in core journals in both Chinese and English, and participated in the drafting and formulation of several industry standards. Moreover, some of Unitech products have passed appraisal at provincial and ministerial levels, and Unitech was awarded the third prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of State Grid accordingly.

        Based on the above-mentioned core technologies, Unitech has developed the following main products: on-line monitoring devices for tap changers and DC switches in UHV converter stations, UHV AC/DC transformer bodies and bushings, 500kV AC series compensator, and HV disconnectors. The live detection products cover all voltage levels, including acoustic fingerprinting, acoustic imaging, infrared and partial discharge detection and other periodic detections of tap changers, transformers, reactors, capacitors, bushings, GIS switches and cables. Most of these products are exclusively owned by Unitech, with some of them reaching the leading level in the industry. In terms of AI, Unitech launched the first live detection robot for dry type reactors in the industry this year.

        Innovation has brought Unitech great development space. UHV power transmission and transformation online monitoring products, conventional AC live detection products, robots and instrumentation products dominated by Unitech are undergoing vigorous development.
